We are surrounded by colors. They guide and influence us in many different ways. Colors tell stories and make history. The exhibition focuses on the fun of discovery and the pleasure of looking.

In small narrative units, visitors can learn about the origins of natural pigments, explore old painting tools and their function, or design colorful shadow or stamp pictures. The painted facades in Stein am Rhein are very special. They lend the town a unique colorfulness and shape the surroundings. What if the houses had different colors? And what colors characterize your life?
